Lisa Antonucci began working with dogs over 30 years ago as an intern with a surgical unit at a local animal hospital. She began formally training dogs in 1989 and worked primarily with pet owners whose dogs had developed nuisance behaviors.
Then in 1996, she was called to develop a foster care program for a local rescue group. She coached foster parents on reading/reacting to problem behaviors, evaluated dogs, aided in placing dogs in private and service homes. From there her work extended to rehab countless numbers of “problem” dogs for this group and other breed groups.
Lisa’s style when working with your dog is to empower you as the dog’s owner to become trainer extraordinaire. Her methods include using positive reinforcement to bring out the best in your dog. She uses fresh and
innovative approaches to bring success to your training goals.
Lisa owns 4 German Shepherd Dogs today and actively competes in Agility with two of them. She is currently working with her youngest German Shepherd towards his first obedience title
